The CRA has introduced a non-refundable tax credit for taxpayers who purchase transit passes which are generally totally at least one month’s duration for multiple types of transportation (mainly local buses, subways, streetcars, or commuter passenger trains). Taxpayers should save their passes and receipts as they may be requested by the CRA as proof.
